improve your skin concerns overall. Chemical Peel There are two forms of exfoliation - Chemical and physical. Physical would be considered the abrasive scrubs and loofahs, chemical exfoliants are able to go down into the deeper layers of the skin to target skin concerns at the root of the cause.

Whats is a Chemical Peel?
At GraceMed we carry medical grade peels are allow us to target the most stubborn of skin. A chemical peel is an exfoliation treatment that uses stronger percentages of acids that are meant to remove dead skin and target skin concerns such as acne or hyperpigmentation. These acids trickle down into the deeper layers of the skin and detach the dead skin form the
fresh skin sitting underneath.

What to expect during your treatment
A complimentary consultation is necessary before going through with this treatment as we need to get a better understanding of what your concerns are as well as confirm if any preconditioning is appropriate. The treatment is approximately 60 min depending on the size of the area. During the treatment we will do a thorough cleanse of the area, and go through with the peel- a very mild spicy sensation is to be expected, our technicians will be with you throughout the treatment to ensure you are comfortable. By the time the treatment is completed all sensation will be gone, a post procedure kit will be given to ensure proper aftercare is being used for best results.

Microneedling tends to be an intimidating treatment to most since considerably needling are being used to cause trauma to the skin, this process however allows the skin to produce more collagen and elastin than it would on a regular basis. This treatment is commonly seen done on the face but can reap the same benefits to target skin concerns on the body.

What is micro needling?
Microneedling also known as Collagen Induction Therapy is a minimally invasive treatment that utilizes tiny sterile needles to cause micro trauma to the skin, this triggers the body’s natural healing process. The small wounds cause the body to make more collagen and elastin, this healing process is a full rejuvenation for the skin from within.

What to expect during your treatment
Our technicians will explain all steps of the process, and answer any question you have to make sure you feel comfortable doing the treatment. We will do a thorough cleanse of the skin and apply medical grade numbing cream- this will ensure you are comfortable during the treatment. After the numbing is removed the micro needling treatment will take no more than 15-20 (depending on the size of the area). Once the technician has completed the treatment, the proper aftercare will be given.
